la is burning

day six of sitting on my butt relaxing at home.  yeah i'm getting bored.  my shingles are going away...i just have nasty scabs on my face.  i'm such a fuckin five year old because i just wanna pick and scratch them off.  i'm resisting...kind of.

teh mister doesn't know how i can stay in with out getting cabin fever.  i got bored today and took a walk to bobatime.  my favorite ktown boba spot because it's two blocks away from the apt.  instead of boba i picked up froyo with mango, lychee, and sliced almonds.  i hate the fact that pinkberryesque froyo has taken over ktown. but whatever you gotta do to make that dollar right?  bobatime, formerly bobaloca, sells boba, pastries, fresh oj, froyo, slush, shaved ice, coffee, tea.  so if i hate froyo why did i get it? because it's bloody hot.  i figured froyo would do the trick.  it did, but the lactose intolerance in me didn't sit well with it.  note to self, if i eat froyo take lactaid.

griffith park is on fire...again.  that's the 2nd time in 2 months.  fire season starts in october...it's may. wtf. it's been a very dry year.  i'm used to dry. i'm from the 818 it's dry all year long.  but the fact that i'm in la, where it's supposed to be 10degrees lower than 818 temps...well global warming is sure kicking my ass.  rain dance anyone?  how about some humidity?

i've been adding music artists on myspace left and right.  i was checking out  m.i.a's myspace which led me to this kesh woman. which leads me to this random mix.  i'm still listening to it.  i don't know if it spits hot fire, but i'm enjoying it right now.
