1. Are you against gay marriage?
nope. it would most likely decrease the divorce rate in the states
2. Lower the drinking age?
harold had a good answer about if a kid could go to war at 18 he should be able to celebrate at a bar when he comes back. i say if he can go to war at 18 he should be able to legally get smashed before he ships out.
3. Capital Punishment?
I battle with this one. I'm not really sure. When it does occur I think the higher power above has a better understanding of what punishment should occur.
4. Abortion?
Raised catholic we were taught that abortion is wrong. I can remember Sister Kathleen recruiting the elementary kids, ie me and my friends, to attend a pro-life march around our church. I can remember how I didn't want to go because I didn't think it was my right to say yes or no on the issue. I was 9, how would I really know anything about what abortion was when I didn't know anything about the issue. i really think it's it's a personal choice and that an individual who chooses to have an abortion will have to come to grips with that choice. that's such a tough decision that a women in that frame of mind should have a supportive environment, rather than one where people would attack her for her choice. Sometimes it seems that pro-lifers don't see the bigger picture involved. That the choice to have an abortion is extremely difficult and the mental/emotional anguish that can occur is devastating....
